FIFA gives extra $300K bonus to football nations (AP)

FIFA is giving each football nation an extra $300,000 as a share of profits from the 2010 World Cup. FIFA says the payment is in addition to the $250,000 every country gets annually toward its football development and running costs. Brunei is currently suspended and is excluded. Each of FIFA's six continental confederations gets an extra $2.5 million.
