Clijsters two wins away from No. 1 spot (AP)

Kim Clijsters is two matches away from returning to the No. 1 ranking for the first time in five years. Clijsters, who won the Australian Open last month for her fourth Grand slam title, only needs to reach the semifinals of the Open Gaz de France this week to overtake top-ranked Caroline Wozniacki. Clijsters plays Kristina Barrois of Germany in the second round on Wednesday.
