Mitchell snaps tie, lifts Kings by Ducks (AP)

The Los Angeles Kings once again showed they can hold on to a one-goal lead even if it took them time to shake off the pesky Anaheim Ducks. Willie Mitchell scored the go-ahead goal in the third period, giving the Kings a 3-2 victory on Wednesday night in the 99th meeting between the rivals. Mitchell snapped a 2-2 tie with just his second goal of the season and first since Oct.
