Santander hires Marcelino as coach for 2nd time (AP)

Racing Santander has hired Marcelino Garcia Toral to replace the fired Miguel Angel Portugal. Marcelino will coach the Spanish club for a second stint after leading the club to fifth place during the 2007-08 season. The 45-year-old Asturias native then joined then-second-division Zaragoza, who he helped earn promotion only to be fired by the club in the midst of last season.
