The Masters is less than a month away, and while we still have plenty of good golf tournaments to go, Augusta National is what's looming in every golfer's mind.
After this weekend's Cadillac Championship, featuring the best players in the world at famed Doral, the idea of who could win at Augusta started floating around, and we at Devil Ball have our early pick to pick up the first major championship of 2011.
That's right - we here like Matt Kuchar. It would be one of the better golf stories of the year, because Augusta National was where Kuchar first came on the radar in 1998. Then he was a young talent with a big smile and what looked like an incredible attitude. Now, in 2011, he's a star, and the type of guy that seems to have the game that fits at the Georgia jewel.
He hits a draw, he is as consistent as anyone in golf right now, and he has the touch needed to get it around those tough greens.
